Local Agency Wins Big for Oracle
WH2P Marketing Communications retained by Oracle to continue branding efforts for recent acquisition
WILMINGTON – October 12, 2005 – WH2P Marketing Communications, a full-service advertising and communications firm, has secured an ongoing account relationship with Oracle Corporation following the company’s acquisition of Retek, Inc., an industry-leading provider of retail software solutions. The Wilmington, Delaware firm has served as the agency of record for Retek for the past eight years, and was instrumental in designing a new brand strategy and advertising campaign launched prior to the company’s acquisition by Oracle. The rebranding campaign produced by WH2P was highly-regarded by both Retek customers and employees, and the strength of the company’s brand was cited in the acquisition announcements by Oracle.
Since the acquisition, Oracle has retained the services of WH2P to continue marketing communications programs for Retek, and assist in the integration of the two companies.
